Thailand 7 day itinerary ( Phuket - Koh Phangan - Krabi)
The total cost of our trip for two people was $1200 (all inclusive).
Thailand is a captivating blend of culture, chaos, and calm—where vibrant street life meets serene traditions. Golden temples, tropical islands, and lush landscapes create a setting that feels both exotic and grounding. Whether you’re chasing flavors, festivals, or quiet sunsets by the sea, Thailand offers a rhythm that’s as energizing as it is soothing.

Day 1: Phuket – First Impressions & Patong Vibes
After a short layover in Malaysia, we landed in Phuket, excited to begin our journey. We withdrew some local currency at the airport and hopped onto a public bus to our 4-star hotel in Patong.
After a bit of rest, we stepped out for lunch and indulged in a delicious vegan spread—burgers, noodles, and the classic mango sticky rice. Patong’s streets were buzzing, and we loved soaking in the lively energy. A cozy café stop for coffee later, we headed to Patong Beach just in time for a dreamy sunset.
As night fell, we explored the iconic Bangla Street—bright lights, loud music, and an atmosphere that felt alive in every sense. Dinner was just as indulgent: pizza, crepes, and plenty of fresh mangoes.
We had planned to visit Freedom Beach, but decided to take it slow as I wasn’t feeling my best.
Day 2: Old Phuket – Culture & Color
We started the day with a hearty hotel breakfast before heading to Wat Chalong Temple. Its intricate architecture and serene ambiance made it a peaceful start to the day.
From there, we traveled to Old Phuket Town—a charming contrast to Patong’s chaos. Lunch was at a vegan restaurant where we enjoyed tempeh sticks, Thai green curry, and refreshing passion fruit juice.
The colorful streets of Old Town were straight out of a postcard. We stopped at the famous Aung Ku Phuket Flower Wall on Soi Romanee, explored cute cafés, and kept hydrated with plenty of coconut water. By evening, we returned to Patong, did some souvenir shopping, and picked up breezy cotton clothes.
Day 3: Koh Phangan – Enter the Island Life
After breakfast, we made our way to the bus terminal and began our journey to Koh Phangan via ferry. By afternoon, we arrived and checked into a boutique hotel in Sri Thanu.
Sri Thanu instantly stood out with its relaxed, soulful vibe—yoga centers, beach cafés, and a slower pace of life. We rented a two-wheeler and rode to the famous Zen Beach, where we strolled along the shore as the sun dipped low.
Dinner was at a vegan café featuring a hearty falafel platter and jackfruit grilled sandwiches—simple, wholesome, and satisfying.
Day 4: Koh Phangan – Beaches & Bliss
We began the day at a beachside café with a nourishing breakfast and ocean views before heading to Mae Haad Beach. The view of Koh Ma Island from here was absolutely stunning, and the laid-back vibe made it easy to lose track of time.
After a leisurely lunch by the beach, we returned to freshen up before heading to Hin Kong Beach—an underrated gem with live music and a relaxed crowd.
The highlight of the evening was a sound healing workshop—deeply calming and rejuvenating. We wrapped up the day at the Sri Thanu night market, enjoying delicious local food.
Day 5: Koh Phangan – Exploring & Full Moon Magic
We started our day at Malibu Beach, with views stretching toward Chaloklum Beach. Next was Haad Yao Beach—peaceful, family-friendly, and incredibly comforting.
A beachside massage followed (highly recommended!), after which we enjoyed a Mediterranean lunch before heading back to refresh.
Later, we visited the majestic Yang Na Yai tree, one of the largest on the island, before heading to Haad Rin Beach for the legendary Full Moon Party. The energy, music, and crowd made it an unforgettable night.
We ended the day with a late dinner back in Sri Thanu—Nasi Goreng and Pad Thai at a chic café—before heading to bed early for the next leg of our journey.
Day 6: Krabi – Postcard Perfection
An early morning ferry (5:30 AM!) took us from Koh Phangan to Krabi. By afternoon, we checked into a stay near Ao Nang Beach.
After a quick lunch, we took a boat to Railay Beach—and it was nothing short of magical. Towering limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and a relaxed, artsy vibe made it one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen.
We returned at sunset and explored Ao Nang’s lively streets. Dinner turned into a highlight—we had the best Massaman curry ever (so good, we went back for seconds within the hour!). Mango sticky rice made for the perfect ending.
Day 7: Goodbye Thailand
On our final morning, we took a quiet walk along Ao Nang Beach and explored the nearby street one last time. After breakfast at a cute café, we headed to Krabi Airport, picking up a few souvenirs with our remaining Thai Baht. And just like that, our Thailand adventure came to an end—leaving us with full hearts and unforgettable memories.
Final Thoughts
Thailand truly offers the perfect mix—whether you’re chasing nightlife in Phuket, serenity in Koh Phangan, or breathtaking landscapes in Krabi. It’s a destination that lets you move between energy and calm, indulgence and simplicity.
If you’re dreaming of a trip that blends party, wellness, and nature—Thailand might just be perfect. 🌊🌿
