Philippines + Singapore 10 day itinerary ( Balabac - El Nido - Singapore)

The total cost of our trip was $2470 for two people (all-inclusive)

The perfect contrast in one trip: from the raw, remote islands of the Philippines with their surreal turquoise waters and limestone cliffs, to the sleek, futuristic charm of Singapore—where everything is polished, vibrant, and effortlessly modern.

Day 1 – Arrival in Palawan

After multiple flights, we finally landed in Puerto Princesa, Palawan late in the evening.

We picked up a SIM card at Manila airport and also activated an international roaming pack on our existing number for convenience. From there, we took a cab to a cozy, family-run boutique hotel in Puerto Princesa.

After freshening up, we stepped out for dinner, took a short walk to get a feel of the place, and called it a night.

Day 2 – Journey to Balabac

Our day began early with a van ride to the southern tip of Palawan. After a long journey and a quick food stop, we finally reached the ferry terminal.

We had booked a private tour of Balabac—a remote paradise known for its untouched islands—where a boat was waiting for us.

Sailing past scattered islands and ever-changing shades of blue, we arrived at Sicsican Island, our base for the next two nights.

The island was raw and beautiful—just huts, camps, and nature at its purest. After settling in, we explored a bit, had some food, and went for a swim. There’s also a small shop on the island for basic snacks and drinks.

In the evening, we visited Candamaran Island, spent some time swimming and exploring, and returned before sunset.

Back at Sicsican, we witnessed a magical sunset. With almost no phone signal, people naturally connected—chatting, playing volleyball, relaxing in hammocks, and simply enjoying the moment. The vibe was incredibly peaceful and unlike anything we had experienced before.

Day 3 – Onuk Island

This day was all about Onuk Island—easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen.

The boat ride itself was an adventure, with rough waves and splashes that left us completely drenched. But the moment we arrived, it was all worth it.

Crystal-clear shallow waters, powdery white sand, and endless blue horizons—it felt surreal. The island is so small that you can see the ocean from all sides, almost like standing on a floating sandbank.

We had originally planned to visit another island later in the day, but Onuk was too special to leave. We spent hours walking into the shallow waters, swimming with turtles, relaxing, and simply soaking in the beauty.

It turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.

By evening, we returned to Sicsican, relaxed under a sky full of stars, and spent time chatting with fellow travelers and our guide about local life.

Day 4 – Sandbanks & Return

We started early, saying goodbye to Sicsican, and headed to the stunning Candamaran sandbank. Walking across the sandbar surrounded by turquoise water—with starfish all around—felt magical.

Next, we visited Patawan Island, where we had lunch and explored the island. Unlike Sicsican, Patawan offers a resort for those looking for a slightly more comfortable stay.

After some time relaxing in hammocks, we began our long journey back to Puerto Princesa. By evening, we were back in town, refreshed, and out for a nice dinner.

Day 5 – El Nido

We traveled to El Nido, located on the northern end of Palawan. The journey was long but scenic.

After checking in, we headed straight to Las Cabañas Beach for sunset. The view—purple skies, limestone cliffs, and a lively atmosphere—was absolutely stunning.

At night, we explored the streets of El Nido and discovered an amazing vegan restaurant that we ended up visiting every single day!

Day 6 – Island Hopping Tour

After breakfast, we set out for an island-hopping tour.

The highlight was the Big Lagoon—kayaking through clear turquoise waters surrounded by towering limestone cliffs was an unforgettable experience.

We also visited Shimizu Island for lunch, along with Secret Lagoon and Seven Commandos Beach, and even did some snorkeling.

The evening was spent once again exploring El Nido’s vibrant streets, picking up souvenirs, and enjoying another great dinner.

Day 7 – Nacpan & Lio Beach

We rented a scooter and rode to Nacpan Beach, a 4-km stretch of pristine white sand with a peaceful vibe.

We walked along the beach, found a quiet spot under the trees, and relaxed with a short nap. After enjoying a packed lunch picnic, we headed to Lio Beach.

Lio had a more lively atmosphere, with stylish cafés and swings by the sea. Watching planes glide past limestone cliffs during sunset made for a truly unique experience.

Day 8 – Manila

We traveled back to Puerto Princesa and flew to Manila. After checking into a hotel near the airport, we rested for the night.

Day 9 – Singapore

We flew to Singapore in the morning.

Our first stop was Jewel Changi Airport, famous for its stunning indoor waterfall.

We then explored Marina Bay, visiting landmarks like Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and Singapore Flyer.

At Haji Lane, we enjoyed vibrant street art, local shops, Mediterranean food, and desserts.

We later visited Gardens by the Bay. The Cloud Forest—with its massive indoor waterfall and misty walkways—was a highlight. Then we explored the Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy, followed by a visit to the mall at Marina Bay Sands.

The evening ended with the spectacular Garden Rhapsody light show and Spectra at Marina Bay Sands. Dinner at Lau Pa Sat wrapped up the day perfectly.

Day 10 – Departure

After exploring Changi Airport—an attraction in itself—we flew back home.

Special mention to Singapore Airlines for their exceptional service, which made our journey incredibly comfortable.
